It was an exciting day for NASCAR fans at the Schluter Systems Plattsburgh Campus where NASCAR driver Corey LaJoie toured the facilities for the very first time. As a third-generation race car driver, Corey LaJoie spends most of his time on the track, sporting the Number 7 Chevy Camaro while also representing Schulter Systems. LaJoie has been a brand ambassador for the company for nearly 6 years. “It’s cool to be the public figure representing the brand and wearing the logo and stickers on TV,” LaJoie said. “But it’s really cool to get here in the trenches with them and seeing how the process actually works.” “Schluter systems is actually on the car this weekend so kind of coincidental that I’m here the week before the race,” LaJoie said. Director of Sales Corey Stevens says he was great seeing employees having the chance to meet Corey, while also introducing him to Schluter’s pit crew. “To see the appreciation and the excitement in our people here in our production facilities and in the warehouse and in the office it’s just overwhelmingly awesome because they finally get to see experience what I’ve seen in him as our brand ambassador,” Stevens said . The visit also included autographs, photos, and answering questions about Corey’s life on and off the track.
